Curriculum

Although a comprehensive dance education will be provided through the academic year, the emphasis is on classical ballet. Dance educators recognize that ballet is the foundation of all dance forms. Ballet training develops the placement and beauty of line necessary to the aspiring dancer.

  • Summer Program
    • A summer intensive program is offered during the late weeks of July to the 2nd week in August. Subject to change. We hold the right to cancel any classes due to lack of enrollment. A full refund will be given if we cancel class for this reason.

We also try to plan one field trip to the Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre in the Spring. We offer a group rate and tour of the Benedum before the performance. Students and parents provide their own transportation.
