Westmoreland Academy provides dancers of all ages the very
best in ballet training. Their professional staff provides
well-structured, challenging classes in an atmosphere of kindness
and encouragement. It is a school where a student can learn
not only to dance ballet, but also learn anatomy, music appreciation
and stage presentation—while having fun!
Character can be described as a fun way to express yourself
through dance. Students are taught steps and techniques from
around the world. This lively form of dance is highlighted
with swirling skirts, high-heeled shoes, ribbons, and tambourines!

daughter has studied at Ballet Westmoreland Academy for nearly
four years. Her instructors have all danced professionally
with major companies and provide their students with a level
of achievement and understanding of the art that is not found
elsewhere. They are interested in the students' development
both as dancers and as individuals. The students receive more
personal attention and correction at Ballet Westmoreland than
at other schools she has attended.
My daughter, at 13, has studied with and performed for the
renowned Mr. Nicolas Petrov, an opportunity which is not normally
available outside college.
